Hominy Soup


‎4 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup of milk
4 onions, sliced in rings
5 bell peppers, red orange, yellow, green
2 stalks of celery
...1 large jar of salsa
2 large cans of hominy
2 teaspoons of Chili Powder
1 package of mushrooms (optional)

Put it all in a big pot and cook til the vegetables are tender. I make it in my big crokcpot and let it simmer all day until the Chief gets home. Serve with warm frybread or toasted wheat bread and butter.
